Professional Bio
Prior to joining the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) in 2012, Fawna completed a PhD at the University of Minnesota (USA), a Fulbright Fellowship with the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), and two post-doctoral positions at the University of Maryland (USA) and Curtin University (Australia). Fawna has expertise in metamorphic geology, regional mapping, tectonics and geodynamics, and is presently managing Proterozoic Margins and metamorphic studies at GSWA.
