Professional Bio
Jack Lowrey is a Senior Geochemist at the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA). He received his BSc at the University of Adelaide, South Australia and then moved to Western Australia to study and explore for komatiite hosted nickel sulphide deposits in the Yilgarn Craton. Jack recently received a PhD from the University of Sydney where he studied the petrogenesis of Meso-Neoarchean greenstones in the western Youanmi Terrane of the Yilgarn Craton. His research with the GSWA has broadened to include aspects of geochemistry and granite-greenstone petrogenesis from across all of Archean Western Australia.
