My PhD research at Curtin University (Perth) focuses on Archean metamorphic rocks to decipher the archived P-T-t history and deepen our understanding of Earth's tectonic record prior 2.8 Ga. The use of novel in-situ garnet Lu-Hf dating allows to directly date a prime metamorphic mineral and tie the age constraints to phase equilibrium modelling results. I am applying this approach to a wide suite of metamorphic rocks from southwest Greenland complemented with conventional geochronology.
